THEnergy prepares launch of platform for "Renewables on Islands"

Draft of plant databse available now.

A draft database of renewable energy applications on islands has been launched: http://www.th-energy.net/english/platform-renewable-energy-on-islands/database-solar-wind-power-plants/

There is a huge number of plants; for sure, we have forgotten quite a lot.

We are applying the folowing criteria:

  • wind or solar installations
  • 200 kWp or more
  • main focus: hotels / resorts, rural electrification, private islands
  • so far there is no strict definition for an islands, but countries such as Japan or Great Britain would not qualify

Have you found any missing or wrong information? Thanks for your feedback!
